  • BookRadio Executive Producer and Host Kari Moran brings a wealth of professional experience to the microphone with more than two decades of award-winning broadcast journalism on national and Los Angeles-based radio.
  • For several years, Kari was Western Correspondent and national nightly News Anchor for the Mutual Broadcasting System and the NBC Radio Network. In Los Angeles, she reported and anchored for major news stations KNX Newsradio, KFI and AP Broadcast.
  • Kari’s covered many major stories including the Catholic Church clergy abuse scandal, the Exxon Valdez oil spill in Alaska, the Loma Prieta earthquake in northern California, and NASA's first Space Shuttle landing in the Mojave Desert.
  • In addition to The BookRadio Show, Kari continues her affiliation with Southern California Public Radio on 89.3fm KPCC where she guest Hosts the local editions of the NPR newsmagazines “All Things Considered” and “Weekend Edition”, a program she regularly Hosted for 4 years.
